Spread Love, Not Hate

 

There's so much dissidance in the world. We've lost a lot these past years in this country and people are divided. Nobody seems to know what to do and you can't really look to the Leaders because many of them don't care about this country. 

It shouldn't cost to be kind and show love but it does. It costs a lot. Sometimes it takes everything you have inside and then some. And even with God in my life, this is a struggle for me. My thoughts are divided, I show love to one person and they recripocate, I do that to someone else and they ignore me.

I want to bless and not curse. I want to encourage and not put down. I want to speak kindly and not harsh. Sometimes it's people who make it impossible to be kind to and sometimes it's my ugly heart that doesn't want to give out anymore.

I recently heard someone say "you can't give from any empty tank." That's true, but we have to be careful who you empty your tank to. If I'm blessing people who don't appreciate it and therefore don't deserve it, who then is the fool?

Lord, I need your help everyday to let The Holy Spirit guide me and therefore speak for me. I can't do it by myself. The people perish for lack of vision and they also perish from broken hearts.
